Almost all states have a state income tax save for seven which include Alaska, Texas, Florida, Nevada, South Dakota, Washington and Wyoming. The resident of these states with no income tax pay no taxes on their incomes and this is somewhat a great thing for the locals. However, the state has to make up for the uncollected taxes by imposing charges and taxes in other areas. Here is a description of each state;
Alaska
This is possibly the most amazing state in terms of size and scenery. There is little else that a person can complain about when in this state other than possibly the ever low temperatures. This is the state where women earn great incomes; averaging over $710 per week. There are however countless foreclosures and people pay dearly when it comes to sin taxes like the $2 per cigarette pack.
Florida
This is an amazing state where the sun is ever present. Many of the residents are retirees; in fact a third of the population is over 65 years. It has become the perfect retirement state. Taxes will be collected through sales, liquor and gas tax.
Nevada
This is the state that boasts of over $55,000 median average income but on the other hand the rate of unemployment is 13%. The foreclosures were rampant and still hold a threat over many people’s heads. The sate recovers its income via the gas and liquor.
South Dakota
Among the states with no income tax, this state definitely scores highly when it comes to unemployment rate and having above average meridian income.
Texas
Texas is definitely a state where many people dream of living their lives. It is large in size as well as economy. It is the place where everybody gets a share of the pie. On the other hand, Texas has one of the highest sales taxes. Even if a person was living in another state they would still have to pay for it. The sin taxes are also nothing to smile about.
Washington
This is the state that has the backing of numerous big shots when it comes to corporate. Among the states with no income tax, Washington happens to be among the best to live in. the state will recover taxes that it foregos in the income section by going for the sin taxes.
Wyoming
This is the least populated state and it is among the best when it comes to average median income. Due to lack of major employers in the state, unemployment poses a major challenge.
